Training  Sessions this season will be held at PINEWOOD and will be from 10:00am-11.30am. Training at Edgbarrow from Sunday 4th January 2009 until the end of February 2009. Please note new time 11am - 12.30pm and also extra £1 per week to cover costs of booking. Children will be required to wear astro turf boots or trainers. This season you are still required to register your child on arrival at the desk just outside the Club House.  We still need volunteers to carry out this essential task.  You must also ensure that either you or a responsible adult stays with your child during training. In the event of bad weather, training will be cancelled i.e. Heavy rain, water- logged pitches or frosty conditions. The web site will be updated with the status of training whenever possible but please contact your respective Coach if you are unsure. Some basic points to remember:  (1) Please ensure your Child is equipped & dressed appropriately. Specifically, Shin Pads are mandatory and football boots are preferred. The conditions can be cold and wet, so please ensure warm clothing (& gloves etc) when appropriate. (2) Please bring some drink, we will encourage regular breaks. (3) During training ensure that either you or a responsible adult stays with your child.  (4) We will try to ensure ALL children enjoy the sessions, but at this age group attention spans can be short, so please help us by encouraging good, attentive behaviour from your child. (4) We encourage parents to get involved and help out. Please volunteer your services. We are looking for parents to assist with registration, coffee, tea etc, so please let Barrie know if you can help! Pinewood Registration At present, we still have memberships available in the U7's age group.. Squad Information From the start of this season the U7's will enter 2 teams (Pumas and Panthers) into the East Berks Youth Football League. The Pumas will play in Section A and the Panthers in Section B.  There will be no published league tables or scorelines in this age group.  We will still keep a record of goals scored by our players as well as any clean sheets - a big achievement at this age group.  Depending on how our teams do, they can either stay in the same section or do have the chance, depending on results, of being promoted or relegated in January.
