Pinewood
At The Madejski !!!!!!!
March saw two sets of Pinewood teams at the Madejski Stadium ... they
weren't playing but one set formed the guard of honour as the
teams came out, the others entertained the crowd at half-time
with some superb goal scoring !!
U7's Entertain The Crowd At The Bristol City Game: Rich Cheney. It
was a special day out and the kids loved it. We hired a big
yellow school bus from Fernhill as well club colours!!
U11's Form Guard Of Honour For The Derby game: Web-Manager's Note.
Although a Reading Season Ticket Holder I missed this game as I was
in the USA. I got a text message from my lad though, who was at
the game, "You're not going to believe this Dad !!
Pinewood are on !!!"

U10 Panthers win East
Berks Div 2 Fair Play Trophy
I am delighted to announce that the U10 Panthers have won the East
Berks Div 2 fair play trophy. Every week the managers have to give
the opposition a fair play score and at the end of the season the
team with the top marks are awarded a Trophy at the leagues
presentation evening.
As you know, I take fair play very seriously as I firmly believe that
it creates a much better environment for our boys to learn and to
enjoy their football and I always give this a higher priority than
winning, so as you can imagine I am over the moon that we have won
this award.
The fair play marks aren't just given for the players, but they also
include marks awarded for the parents/spectators and the coaches, so
it really is a team award for everyone involved with the Panthers,
well done to everyone.
We were invited to attend the East Berks Presentation Evening to
receive our awards on Tuesday 12th May 7.30 pm at Blue Mountain Golf Club.
