Joubert Gama - U15's Manager
As his teams moved through from 7 a-side to 11 a side they become the Panthers and despite many changes from season to season have still got 4 boys who have been with the team for 6 years (3 having done 7 years). Joubert used to be a GP but is now Medical Director of an Ethical Pharmaceutical Company having also been Divisional Surgeon for St John's Ambulance. So first aid has been well covered.....but luckily not required to any extent ! Joubert passes on big thanks for assistance over the years of many parents but also fellow coach Gerry Copps who's son is one of the 7 yr stalwarts. Joubert's younger daughter who plays soccer has been encouraging him to get a Pinewood girls team started.......maybe one day soon !! |

Joubert started helping out with Pinewood in 2001 when his son joined
the U8s, and later that season started coaching the Polecats.
