Mary Hadden - Club Chairman
She had little or no interest in football then, but, as a Mum of two boys and a wife of a loyal Chelsea supporter, it was a case of, " if you can't beat them, join them". Daniel, her youngest son also followed on to join Pinewood a year later. Starting out by helping in the kitchen at tournaments, Mary went on to organising the Pinewood FC dinner /dance which was a huge success and is now a highlight of the Pinewood calender. This led to Mary joining the Pinewood committee whilst Mike Richards was Chairman, and on his departure from the role, she stepped in to carry on where he left off. Perhaps not her plan 11 years ago, but somehow it just happened. And if you ask her, as Chairman, does she know the off-side rule, her answer is "of course... NOT --- but I've got 30 men who do"!!!! circa Oct 2009 |

Tommy, joined in 1998 when he was 4 years old.
